Art for Storytelling
Art for Storytelling is a group-based therapeutic art experience using collage and storytelling to enhance connection and self-expression. This guided art experience allows creators to share their stories, connect with emotions, clarify values, identify challenges, explore transformations, and set intentions.
Participants create one-of-a-kind personal artwork while engaged in community.

Open Studio Workshop
Mixed Media Workshop - 2-3 hours
Mixed Media Intensive - Immersive Half (4 hrs) or Full Day (8 hrs)
Self Guided Workshop
All Experiences are available in-person (Knoxville, TN) & online (ZOOM)

No artistic experience is required. The focus is on expression, exploration, and connection — not artistic skill. Every participant creates something meaningful, regardless of background.

For in-person sessions, all materials are provided.
For online workshops, a simple materials list will be emailed ahead of time, using items that are easy to gather (magazines, scissors, glue, markers, etc.).

Art for Storytelling is not about technique. It’s a therapeutic, guided experience that uses art-making as a pathway to reflect, connect emotions, clarify values, and explore personal narratives.

While the experience is therapeutic and facilitated by someone with a background in art therapy, it is not a replacement for clinical mental health treatment. It can, however, beautifully complement existing personal growth or wellness practices.

Yes. Art for Storytelling can be customized for corporate teams, nonprofits, schools, retreats, and other groups. Custom themes can be incorporated based on your goals.
