Art for Storytelling

Art for Storytelling is a group-based therapeutic art experience using collage and storytelling to enhance connection and self-expression. This guided art experience allows creators to share their stories, connect with emotions, clarify values, identify challenges, explore transformations, and set intentions.

Participants create one-of-a-kind personal artwork while engaged in community.

  • No artistic experience is required. The focus is on expression, exploration, and connection — not artistic skill. Every participant creates something meaningful, regardless of background.

  • For in-person sessions, all materials are provided.

    For online workshops, a simple materials list will be emailed ahead of time, using items that are easy to gather (collage images, scissors, glue, markers, etc.).

  • Art for Storytelling is not about technique. It’s a guided therapeutic art experience that uses art-making as a pathway to self-regulation, emotional expression, personal reflection and integration.
