Welcome to my creative hub!
A place where I weave together Art Therapy, Storytelling, Education, Development, & Accessibility

“Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life” - Pablo Picasso.

Art for Life is the foundation of Heather Zuchowski's entrepreneurial ventures, bringing together the following branches: Art for Inclusion, Art for Storytelling, and Art for Development so you can find how the services best serve you.

I am a trauma-informed Art Therapist with a primary focus on trauma, ADHD, inclusion, and recovery While I have offered 1:1 Art Therapy in the past, those sessions are currently booked. While you wait for an opening (P.S. Join the waitlist!) I encourage you to find another way we can work together.

Give me a mic - whether a podcast mic or a speaking one and I’ll come speak to Art Education, and Nervous System Regulation through Art. Click here to browse Podcasts I’ve been on.

Art for Inclusion

Artist PALS - Accessible Art Workshops

I believe art is for ALL.

Rooted in a foundation of art therapy and adaptive practice, Art for Inclusion is an inclusive program designed for individuals of all abilities. Whether managing a developmental or physical disability, a learning difference, or a disability acquired later in life—I provide accessible and affirming art experiences.

Caregivers and family members are also welcome. We provide the tools and artistic direction to make art that reflects each attendee’s creative voice and their colorful storyline—in their way, with the right adaptive tools.

Art for Impact

SHE RECOVERS Foundation, Art of Disability, The For Sober Chicks Podcast.

Art for Life, LLC. is social entrepreneurial organization.

I support various organizations through Art for Impact initiatives. I am a proud woman in recovery. As such, I’m a professional facilitator for the SHE RECOVERS Foundation and SHE RECOVERS of East TN. SHE RECOVERS Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity and a global grassroots movement serving more than 325,000 women and non-binary individuals in or seeking recovery from life challenges including trauma, substance use, grief and loss, eating disorders, burnout and moral injury, local addiction and mental health issues such as anxiety and depression.

Collage Soup “Art of Disability” is a celebration of creativity, strength, and self-expression within the disabled community. Featuring wheelchairs, walking canes, and adaptive aides in an artistic way, allowing for endless possibilities for self-expression. A portion of the proceeds are used for free accessible art workshops.

The For Sober Chicks Podcast is three seasons of unscripted conversations about ALL things Recovery, the good, the bad, and everything in between. It’s a collective sobriety & recovery podcast by women, for women, and for everyone who supports women.

  • "I thought the 25 mins to do the tasks was going to be way too long, but the time went really quickly. If your focused on the art, then the normal things going through your brain went away and gave you peace. Being able to turn to something that we had never tried before and always thought would be rubbish at and to find out it was an achievement was gratifying. Looked forward to all the days that we had class."

  • "Yes, I achieved lots from it. I surprised myself. I thought it was well presented relaxing very informative and made to feel comfortable as don't need to show my creations."

  • "She taught us all the different parts that you can do. She is wonderful. She is very easy to follow. Gives good clear instructions. Also, I found my likes and dislikes. I'm sorry that its only 6 weeks, I'd have liked it to be longer, but I will carry on with what I have learned."
